Early in 1970 the way was pointed for professional mobile radio at Grundig electronics. First type approvals for units of the FK 101 range stem from 1973. Many thousands are still in daily use today.
In the meantime, mobile radio at plettac electronics has been greatly enhanced, and today it is one of the fine brands in the market. Based on the original business with standard units and exclusive marketing via professional retailers customized business for demanding
customers has been set up which is growing increasingly more important. Here, too, the professional retailers are an important partner. As for the word "partner", it is of special meaning in the marketing philosophy of the Business Unit Mobile Radio.
